Refund Policy
Effective Date: February 15, 2026
At TrueID Fingerprinting, we are committed to providing fast, accurate, and professional Live Scan fingerprinting services.
Due to the nature of biometric and background screening services, the following refund policy applies:
1. Service Fees
All fingerprinting services, including Live Scan submissions to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and other regulatory agencies such as Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), are processed immediately upon submission.
Once fingerprints have been captured and submitted electronically, no refunds will be issued, regardless of background screening results.
2. Appointment Cancellations & No-Shows
If an appointment is missed, no refund will be given.A one-time reschedule may be granted at the company’s discretion.
Clients must notify TrueID Fingerprinting at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment to reschedule without penalty.Failure to appear without notice will result in forfeiture of payment.
3. Rejections by FDLE or FBI
If fingerprints are rejected by FDLE or FBI due to quality issues:
TrueID Fingerprinting will provide one complimentary reprint if the rejection is due to capture quality.
If rejection is due to client factors (e.g., worn fingerprints, scars, excessive dryness, or medical conditions), additional fees may apply.TrueID Fingerprinting is not responsible for agency determinations or background results.
4. Incorrect ORI / Agency Information
It is the client’s responsibility to provide the correct ORI number and requesting agency information.
If incorrect information is provided and fingerprints must be resubmitted, a new service fee will apply.
No refunds will be issued for submission errors caused by incorrect client-provided information.
5. Mobile Services
For mobile fingerprinting appointments:Travel fees are non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched.
If cancellation occurs after travel has begun, the travel fee will be charged.
6. Payment Methods
All service fees are due at the time of booking or at the time services are rendered.
By completing payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.
All sales are FINAL once services have been rendered.
Refunds are NOT provided for:

Completed fingerprint submissions

Completed drug testing
-
Completed DNA sample collections
-
Government processing delays
-
Incorrect ORI numbers provided by clients
Missed appointments are non-refundable. Clients who fail to appear may reschedule one time within 14 days. Failure to attend the rescheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
